   Yeah, Opera definitely won…only by 1-2 seconds but I definitely saw the difference.

   Try testing safari against opera on an edge connection on the iPhones. In my tests it’s a lot quicker. The pages aren’t displayed as nicely as on safari but I’m going to use opera on edge/3g connections and safari on wifi connections.

   Sorry, my post was a bit vague, in my tests opera is a lot quicker on edge. My bad!

   doesn’t rly make sense
   the bonus of opera is that it compresses data a lot, thus making it faster on slow networks like 3G, and 2G.. testing it on wifi is missing the point
